Aiken County Democratic Party Gathering -- GET OUT THE VOTE!!

Cherie Mabrey from SC Democratic Party gave us a presentation on the value of different forms of getting out the vote.  The most effective way is directly talking to people.  Talk to your friends and neighbors about what is important to you.

Greg Anderson, from Edgefield, is running for the same seat Tommy Moore held.  He came to speak at the meeting, telling us that he needs volunteers in the Midland Valley, Graniteville area.  Please contact his campaign -- see "Candidate" page for his site (or contact us on our site and we will get the message to him).

Jane Dyer, the candidate running against Rep Gresham Barrett had a local representative attend tonight's gathering.  Jessica King spoke about what's going on with Jane's campaign and is also looking for volunteers for the campaign.  Please send Jessica an email,  Jessica@JessicaKing.com and let her know you can help.  You can contact us, too -- we will forward the information to her.

Richard Johnson, Jr who served in the Army and is a member of the Korean War Veterans Association, announced that he has been chosen to be the state chair of "South Carolina Veterans for Obama."  If you are a veteran and would like to help him, contact us.

Our next gathering will have a special guest, Gilda
Cobb-Hunter.  If you haven't heard her speak, you need to come!
